Who I am

My name is Dr. Luca Pontiggia. I am a Ph.D. Physicist by background, a communication specialist, and a data scientist. I also own an entertainment company where I am the public speaker delivering shows on the wonders of the universe with music, cinema and science

At heart, I am a storyteller, I am observant, sensitive, playful, and curious. I take photos as just one more expression of my creativity to capture what I feel.

what I offer

I offer my services as a photographer at lower rates than the industry. I am based in Johannesburg, South Africa but am open to travel world wide.

I am not doing this for a living but as a passion. I have a natural eye for beauty and storytelling. So I will focus on this no matter the shoot - be it for a modelling portfolio, a festival, a travel diary, a wedding or a pet shoot, or simply another photographer who wants to collaborate.
